Who is the "Little Thrifty Chic"?

Hey Y'all, I'm Chelsea {the "Little Thrifty Chic"}! If you love thrifting or budget-friendly fashion, home decor + DIY projects, makeup, and honesty, you'll fit right in here! 

I am first and foremost a child of God. I have been married to my firefighter hubby for 6 years and I'm mommy to our incredibly stubborn, yet awesome two year old, Emerson. I love bargain shopping {thrift stores mostly}, budget-friendly DIY and decorating, and motherhood. Also, it's worth mentioning that makeup + fashion are both a major hobby of mine. I currently stay home with our daughter, but I am a work-at-home mom if we're getting technical.

Prior to becoming a stay-at-home-mom/Younique presenter, I was a 3rd + 4th grade inclusion teacher in the public school system. I started blogging {just for friends + family} a couple of years ago using a different blog host. I encountered some difficulties there, so I had to delete it and completely start over with this blog in late 2014. This blog has been an outlet and a source of great encouragement for me over the last year especially. I write about real life, my hobbies and interests, and I try to incorporate humor where I can, but often times, my tone is a little more serious. I don't shy away from hard topics and you may learn more about me than you care to know, but don't say I didn't warn you! ;)

If something speaks to you, makes you laugh/cry, or brings you inspiration, then I've accomplished my goal here. I'm here to empower, uplift, and encourage. I do what I do because I just love sharing life with others. As a major homebody + as an introverted extrovert {it's a real thing, Google it}, this blog serves as such a great platform for fellowship, encouragement and inspiration with and for others. My hope is that you'll hang out long enough to realize that creativity is contagious, and should most definitely be passed on {Albert Einstein}. Thanks for taking this journey with me! XO!
